I have always had a strong love for animals, combined with a fascination for science and problem solving I knew becoming a Veterinarian was my calling. After serving countless pets over the years, my professional interest has evolved into a desire to provide a source of help in the times most pets and their owners need it the most. I strive to provide the most compassionate, peaceful, and stress-free experience possible. Having seen way too many pets suffer or experience stress in their last moments in an unfamiliar environment, my goal is to help provide relief while ensuring your pet experiences the utmost love and comfort in their final moments.

It was such a difficult decision to put my baby to sleep. I knew I wanted to do it at home and not at the vet clinic. The clinic had a flyer on Codapet which was very helpful. Dr. Christina Vernon was the one who came out. She was in touch with me before she came, she took all the time I needed while she was here. She was very compassionate and caring for myself and my baby which I really appreciated as I was very emotional. When needed again, I will definitely call Codapet and Dr. Vernon. She was wonderful.
Christina was amazing to say the least. She began by sitting down with Tazz and offering her treats to break Tazz’s nervousness with a stranger in her room. Christiana not only comforted Tazz, but us as well with her caring demeanor. She spoke softly and spent time with us …no hurry . Afterwards she wrapped Tazz in a blanket and carried her to her suv which had a nice bed to put her in. About a week later Christina personally brought Tess’s ashes to us. She also followed up with a very nice card. My family and I had to make the hardest decision of a lifetime, not just for one but two fur babies at the same time, Daisy (15) and Guiness (14). Dr. Christina Vernon was very kind and gentle and made this sad time as comfortable as it could be. The most important thing was that our dog, Mama, was so relaxed and comfortable, that it was just like she was falling asleep. There was no anxiety or fear. Very comforting.
Dr Vernon was amazing! She started our entire sad event ansking us questions about our dog and our memories of when he was younger. then she helped us gently put him to sleep. She took care of our mental states just as much as she helped our dog end his pain.
She was super sweet and caring. She made a very difficult day a calming experience. She explained everything that she would be doing, and even expressed sympathy for what we were going through. Our little dog was right there the whole time and let her smell and lay with her sister. I truly felt she understood what was happening, because it seemed her grieving process only lasted a few days. This was my first time using an in home euthanasia vet, and I will say I will definitely use their services again for our other babies when it is their time. Dr. Christina was extremely patient, caring, and accommodating. Our kitty's condition came on suddenly and we were not prepared to deal with such a sad situation, but she was very helpful and helped to make our last moments with him as peaceful as anyone could hope for.
From the first phone call I was impressed. We were able to schedule the appointment for the following day which happened to be a Saturday without being charged more, which gave us the weekend to grieve. Dr. Christina was wonderful and helped us all through a very difficult situation. She was able to put our minds to rest that we were doing the right thing. She was also very tender and caring towards our dog. We were not charged more than expected and felt it was well worth the money to be able to all be involved in saying goodbye to our loved one. The paw print was an unexpected gift which we will treasure.
About 2 weeks ago I had Christina Vernon come over to my home to euthanize my cat Salem and she was very compassionate during this difficult time. She was very supportive afterwards. I would highly recommend her.
Our fifteen-year-old Aussie had lost the use of his rear legs and was confused and struggling. And as much as we hoped he would be okay on a gut level we knew it was his time. We had called five or six vets and all of them were overbooked and seemingly indifferent to what we were going through. They all referred us to emergency vet clinics that stated they had no appointment system and they would get to us when they could. Our boy deserved better. Admittedly, I had never heard of in home pet euthanasia but anything seemed like a better option than sitting in a cold, sterile examination room. Our boy hated going to the vet and I didn't want his last moments to be filled with fear. Using CodaPet's website I made a same-day appointment for that afternoon. Dr. Christina Vernon did an outstanding job of comforting us in the most troubling of circumstances. She was on-time, kind, compassionate, gentle, and understood what we were going through. She explained the process in depth and didn't proceed until we were ready. He died peacefully laying in his favorite spot with my wife and I comforting him. He was the most loving dog I've ever known and it was soooo important that his final moments reflected how much he was loved. Dr. Christine allowed that to happen. He had a peaceful, loving death. Thank you!!!! I wholeheartedly encourage anyone struggling with the end to consider Dr. Christina and CodaPet. We chose cremation and received his ashes back in a beautiful box with a fantastic paw print.
Dr. Vernon is wonderful and kind. We’ve unfortunately had to put two of our puppies down within the last few months and both times Dr. Vernon was here to assist us. Dr. Vernon could not have been any kinder or more understanding at such a difficult time. My cat had issues with the whole world and Dr. Vernon was able to meet our needs for decreased interaction. My cat passed peacefully in my arms in her own spot in our home. She met Tabitha’s needs.
The moment was had an intimate, peaceful, and respectful feeling towards my pupper. Dr. Vernon assisted us in making the hardest decision we’ve had to make - knowing the time to assist our fuzzy boy to peacefully pass away before he had additional pain and suffering. She was kind and compassionate, and was wonderful to our dog. She helped us make the best decision we could make, and let us take as much time as we needed with our boy. We were able to say our goodbyes, and carry him to her vehicle. Within a week, she personally brought his cremains back to us, with a beautiful footprint that we will always cherish.

Saying goodbye to our Gigie was one of our hardest decisions we had to make. We did not want to see her go. She brought a lot of love to us and lived like a queen. We scheduled and cancelled several times with Dr. Christina and she was always very understanding and took the time to talk with us about the decision we had to make. During the time we said our goodbyes she was so kind and caring and Gigie was at ease that she was in her home surrounded by the people that loved her. Dr. Vernon is a caring and compassionate vet. She did everything to make our last time with our beloved cat as gentle and loving as possible. She came to our home which was far better than having to transport him to an office. He was in pain but loved the treats she gave before she administered the injection. We appreciated the care from start to finish. We couldn't have chosen a better person for this important job.
Dr. Vernon was extremely compassionate, professional, and kind. She accommodated our wish to have the passing done outside at his favorite spot in the yard. I highly recommend Dr. Vernon and thank her for her gentle and understanding approach.

Makes me wonder if one of reasons losing a furry family member is so different from the loss of a human member is the way we communicate. With animals, it's heavily emotion whether words or actions and with humans, it's logic, emotion, words and action making it a little easier (?) to communicate...Needless to say, just coming to the decision no words can describe what it takes. The word "euthanasia" has a heavy connotation and weight so instead, peaceful release in a safe space. The love of my life had been with me 19 years and coming to the decision to provide his release, well, nothing can describe that in words. Dr. Christina was kind, showed my baby respect and attempted to offer some solace. I was able to release my baby, in my arms, thanks to Dr. Christina.
Dr Vernon was amazing and gave us so much grace and patience when it was time to say goodbye to our boy. She gave us all the time we needed and even let me carry him to the car. Highly recommend!!
Dr. Christina was the kindest, most compassionate person to help guide us through a very difficult time as we had to put down our beloved golden retriever after 13 wonderful years. She was patient and kind, explained the whole process, and thoughtfully engaged with our dog and us through it all. We are so grateful for her gentle compassion.

Dr. Vernon was compassionate and genuinely cared about me and the comfort of my Pepper. I am so thankful that she was able and available to come to my home. As hard as it is to go through the loss of losing a pet, I would recommend Dr Christina Vernon to anyone in need of her service. She provided such kind, compassionate care for my beloved pet and ensured my own comfort while I had to say goodbye. I was given a paw print that will serve as a memorial to Kitty. I appreciated Dr Christina’s calm demeanor and respectful handling of the situation, including how Kitty was transported after crossing the rainbow bridge. I will always recommend Dr Christina when I can; I couldn’t have asked for a better experience during such a difficult time.
Dr. Christina was so wonderful! She came out after hours to put down our precious Hershey our dog and Larrie our cat. She was so kind and sincere. Our pets passed peacefully. Thank you!
Saying goodbye to my dog was really hard, and Dr. Vernon was so kind, and so caring. Nothing can make that experience easy, but her compassion was apparent, and her care for both my dog Willow and for ME was much appreciated.
Dr. Christina made a very difficult experience a little easier. When she arrived, she let us know we're going at our own pace. We can’t say enough about the compassion Dr Vernon showed our girl, Aja. She made a very difficult and sensitive situation much easier to handle for us and our fur baby. Although this wasn’t the first time experiencing this, she explained everything to us and gave us plenty of time to say our good byes.

Dr Vernon was incredible. Her compassion and patience while we went through our loss has been exceptional. It’s not an easy thing to go through and she was with us from the start and checked up on us after, even providing coloring books for our kids to help cope with their loss. She immediately reaching out to provide our sweet girl’s remains. She made a heart wrenching experience beautiful. Thank you!
