Our pets are one of the few constants in our life. They play such a grounding role for us, with their unconditional love and support. It is truly the last loving decision we can make as their caretakers to help them pass peacefully, with dignity and respect. As a veterinarian that has helped with end-of-life care both in home and in a clinic, I see the many great benefits for families and their pets with the privacy of in-home services, where both are the most comfortable and relaxed in their own environment.

Two weeks ago today I needed to euthanize my big, handsome, and sweetest boy ever Archie. He was 14, and his precipitous decline was so sudden. I didn’t even know home pet euthanasia was even an option, until I began looking online that morning. Dr Jessica was such a gift to me and my family members that were able to gather here to love Archie and say goodbye together. The worst possible day happened in the best possible way. And I know he’s very happy now with my mom and dad, and all our family members in heaven. Thank you, Dr Jessica for walking us through that morning of mourning.
Dr. Mumm handled saying goodbye to our Ruby in the best possible way that it could have been handled. It was an extremely difficult decision for us, but she made us feel so at peace with the decision. She was calming, respectful and so knowledgable. Dr. Mumm was very patient, calm, compassionate and respect. Dr. Mumm, explained everything before it was going to happen. One of the worst days, but so thankful she was there to make it endurable.
Dr Mumm was great. It was obviously difficult putting our dog down, but she made us feel comfortable with our decision and was very attentive and communicative throughout the entire process. It made this heart wrenching experience much easier having someone that cares so much about you and your pet. Thank you Dr. Mumm for all you did for us!
She was very caring, and you can tell how much she loves animals. She helped us feel better about our decision to have to put down our beloved pet and helped us know we were doing the right thing for our cat. She did her best to explain everything that we were going to be experiencing. It takes a very special person to do what she does and we were very grateful to have us there helping our cat at the end.
We are extremely grateful for Dr. Jessica Mumm who helped us say goodbye to our beloved Riley in the comfort of our home. She was extremely kind, compassionate and patient with us during the entire process. We are thankful for her and for this service.
