When we knew it was time to say goodbye to our little Trudy, we contacted CodaPet. Dr. Sarah Clem was absolutely wonderful. Before the appointment, she reached out to see if we had any questions. At the appointment she was kind and compassionate. She explained the process, but let us take our time before each step. She was so kind. She was so sweet and gentle with Trudy, both during and after. Having this done at home is so much better than going in to a vet's office. It wasn't rushed. We were able to hold Trudy, wrap her in her special blanket, sit in her favorite place. We were able to take our time. It was all very peaceful and gentle.
We were met with such compassion and understanding from Dr. Norman. Our cat Bro wasn't recovering from an acute health event and we had to make the difficult decision. There was quick availability and it was all scheduled online, we weren't up to making phone calls and explaining our situation so this was a HUGE relief. Once we scheduled Dr. Norman reached out to us within minutes offering flexibility to her services. She was able to come sooner than scheduled when his health got worse. She talked us through all the steps and was such a calming presence. Thankful we were able to have this level of care during such a dark time.
Dr. Dixon was absolutely incredible. She made an extremely difficult and emotional process a little easier with her calm demeanor and truly caring treatment of our big old boy. I had a lot of anxiety leading up to our appointment but as soon as she came in and met our fur family, I was quickly put at ease. She gave us plenty of space and provided us all the time we needed to say our final goodbye. For something so difficult, we could not have asked for more from a veterinarian.
Dr. Danielle Chapman came out, listened to what was going on, and confirmed what we feared. When the decision was made, she was reverent l during the process. His passing was peaceful and it was a relief to know he was no longer suffering. I recommend her for one of the toughest decisions you'll have to make.
Saying goodbye to a beloved fur baby is one of the hardest things we can go through, and losing Papa Chico felt like losing a piece of my heart. He was more than just a dog—he was family. When it was time to help him cross over the rainbow bridge, I knew I wanted his final moments to be peaceful, comfortable, and filled with love. Dr. Josh provided exactly that and more. His compassion, professionalism, and gentle presence brought such comfort during one of the most emotional days of my life. He treated Papa Chico with the utmost respect and tenderness, allowing him to pass in the familiarity of his own home, surrounded by love. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience under such difficult circumstances. Dr. Josh’s calm energy and empathy made all the difference. I will forever be grateful for how beautifully he helped guide Papa Chico’s final moments. Thank you, Dr. Josh, for helping my sweet boy transition peacefully. Your work is a gift.
