Your credit card is required to reserve your appointment. However, no payment is required until the appointment and nothing is due until the appointment is completed
We charge cancellation fee of $100 if an appointment is cancelled less than 4 hours before the start time. If your pet passes away before your appointment you would not be charged a cancellation fee. If the vet you scheduled is able, and you would like their assistance with cremation, then pickup fee would apply instead of euthanasia fee

I made a last-minute appointment when my 14-year-old cat 'crashed' due to cancer. He had been doing well, but in the space of a day just suddenly went downhill and was obviously in his last hours. My vet had recommended a couple in home pet euthanasia services, since my cat is very fearful of strangers and taking him to a vet or hospital would have been extremely traumatic. I contacted Codapet and was able to schedule Dr. Bonnie Goldthwaite for the same day. Dr. Goldthwaite called ahead to review the process, listened to all my concerns, and helped work out a plan to mitigate the stranger-fear. She was prompt, knowledgeable, and kind at a terrible time. She explained the process before we started, and kept me informed through every step. The icing on the cake was the sweet wicker basket and homemade blankets she wrapped my sweetheart in to take him away. I will definitely recommend this service, and Dr. Goldthwaite, to anyone who finds themselves in this situation. It's awful to go through, and having a goodhearted guide makes a huge difference.
We are beyond grateful to Dr. Angela De Villa for the incredible compassion and care she showed during one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced. Dr. Perzak was very compassionate and supportive during our family's difficult time of letting go of our sweet Lilly! She was kind & patient. My son is military so he was not able to be home to say his goodbyes to his childhood dog. He was able to be a part via video call & she took the time to talk with him as well to include him in the moments to say goodbye. Her genuine compassion of our loss helped us understand why it was best to let our Lilly go who was very sick. Our family appreciates everything she did for us! Thank you so much Dr. Perzak!♥️
It took two painful shots in our cat's leg before he would lie down and be still. He was very scared after the first one. Then it took two shots to administer the euthanasia drugs. The second one was in his heart. He didn't seem to feel it at the time, and Ms. Goldthwaite was reassuring and surprised by his resilience, but overall it was exactly the opposite of what I had hoped for. We didn't want him to be scared like he would have been at the vet. Instead, he was scared at home. It was very hard to take.
They are amazing! My baby was only 6 years old. And he was poisoned only the poison didn’t take him right away it was slow and we didn’t know what was happening to him . He just lost himself he was no longer the dog we knew he became almost like mentally challenged and senile at the same time . I brought him to the vet and the blood work came back clear. So for a couple months he went from just acting mentally challenged but still eating drinking and walking on his Owen still trying to play but being kind of aggressive to not walking or eating on his Owen to potting in the kennel and the house vertigo really bad and I had had enough I couldn’t get him in the car he started having seizures and I didn’t want him to be scared but it was time. I wanted him free of whatever this was that took my baby. Dr. Vosburg was so patient and gentle and she came to the house no judgment at all just kind and compassionate she went slow and at his side she gave him the sleep meds let us love on him and then sent him on his way to freedom . My heart is never gonna be the same after having that bundle of energy that loving adorable baby in my life , and even though I wasn’t supposed to be sending him off yet , as sudden as it was , having him sent off that way was perfect and I felt ok sending him with her. They are just amazing people and I’ll forever call on them when I need to. Thank y’all so much.
Saying goodbye to a family member is never easy. However, being able to say goodbye in the privacy of your home is an absolute gift. After 14.5 years of giving us all the love in her heart, we needed to make the hardest decision. Maddie was surrounded by her things, her smells, and all the people(and cats) who loved her. Not having to deal with all the complications of transporting our beloved Maddie to the hospital, being a grieving mess in public, or having to drive home after the procedure are all positive features of this service. We are grateful for CodaPet and all the staff and doctors who make up this exceptional service.
